Cycle Relay 2018

WWF 1In less than a month James Wyatt will be taking another team up the stairs of the CN Tower to help fundraise for the World Wildlife Fund. This will be his seventh year helping the WWF aim to make a positive impact in the world.

How does climbing stairs help?

In order to participate in the event, each climber must raise a minimum of $150.00, which goes towards the global efforts of the World Wildlife Fund. His team is encouraged to fundraise as much as they can, aiming for $1000.00 each year.

In addition to the CN Tower Climb, the Kazoku Martial Arts Family is also looking to fundraise for their cultural experience in Japan 2021. We will be sending our students to go train with the masters within the Seiwa Kai Association in Tokyo and to have the opportunity to experience Japanese culture first hand.

Bike

For both of these events, James has organized a 12 hour relay to be held online via Instagram (@KMACentre) this coming Sunday, March 18th to collect online donations while him and his students cycle on their stationary bikes from 8am-8pm. Viewers who donate will also have the chance to enter in our raffle for a wonderful bike (for ages 7-10) donated by our friends at 3SIXTY5 Cycling.

So be sure to follow us and watch us live as we challenge ourselves and our community to keep the wheels spinning for twelve straight hours!
