It’s just been over a week since our group of five took on 1,776 steps to the top of the CN Tower for our 7th annual climb. It’s hard to believe it’s already been seven years of climbing, but each year brings on new experiences and gives other climbers the chance to test themselves physically and mentally.
This year Jeric and I took three new climbers to Toronto in order to climb for the World Wildlife Fund who pushed themselves and made it up in under 30 minutes. Our youngest AND oldest climbers to date.
Not only did we manage to climb in no time, we were also able to raise a total of $1,060 for the WWF. So in seven years of climbing, we’ve almost raised $10,000!
I want to send my biggest thanks to everyone who came out to help us fundraise back in March and who still continued to donate while our climbers prepared for the big day. It’s always a blast and next year I will be preparing another team for our 8th annual climb. If you would like to join us, be sure to let us know by February 2019 when we assemble our next group.
