Collecting E-waste with Smart Choice Electronic Recycling
Kazoku Martial Arts Centre and Clayton Teet from Smart Choice Electronic Recycling worked together last month to collect as many tv’s, hard drives, batteries, wires, and more to help their local community remove the clutter in their garage or basement in the best way possible. With every pound we collected, we were able to raise an additional $444.00 towards the BIG trip to Japan in 2021!

Electronic waste, if you don’t already know, can not just be thrown in the garbage or the blue bin. It needs to be removed in a safe way to ensure it does not impact our environment. Clayton, owner of Smart Choice Electronic Recycling, has made it his mission to give his community a place to send their e-waste so that he can recycle it safely.
Located at the back of the Flea Market on Hespeler Road you can drop off any of your old or broken electronics at any time. And if you mention that you’re dropping it off for Kazoku Martial Arts, a part of the proceeds will go towards our fundraising pot to send our students to Japan in 2021.
And in the future, with every truck load he gets, Clayton wants to start planting trees to help fight against the impact our litter is having on the planet.
