Elite Tournament #5

Under the Ontario Karate Federation

The Elite KMAthletes at Kazoku Martial Arts Centre completed their first full competitive season at the Elite Level with the Ontario Karate Federation.

Our young athletes pushed themselves to learn more and perfect their skills while under the guidance of James Wyatt, NCCP certified coach and instructor here in Cambridge, Ontario.

With highs and lows, each athlete succeeded in improving over the season and they are now ready to take a small break while we await the Ontario Winter Games. But their coach can’t help but be proud of each one of his students and can not wait to take them to the next level in September.

And a special congratulations to Madelyn for winning bronze in the girls kumite division and to James for winning Rookie Coach of the Year under the provincial sport governing body of karate – The Ontario Karate Federation.

Thank-you to the head officials, the OKF board of directors, our supporting dojo, and of course our athlete’s parents! We could not do it without you.
