It’s becoming a tradition! Kazoku Martial Arts Centre held its second annual BBQ at Shades Mills Conservation area in Cambridge during the Canada Day long weekend, and we certainly had a splashingly good time!
Collecting E-waste with Smart Choice Electronic Recycling
Kazoku Martial Arts Centre and Clayton Teet from Smart Choice Electronic Recycling worked together last month to collect as many tv’s, hard drives, batteries, wires, and more to help their local community remove the clutter in their garage or basement in the best way possible. With every pound we collected, we were able to raise an additional $444.00 towards the BIG trip to Japan in 2021!
Fundraising for Japan 2021
Kazoku Martial Arts Centre and E.V.O Kitchen partnered up again this year to host their Second Annual Mother’s Day High Tea in their beautiful venue upstairs.
Please note the following dates for April 2019.
It was a super exciting day as we took to the mats, once again, to face new and familiar faces from dojo’s across Ontario; an event sanctioned by the Ontario Karate Federation.
We’re looking to expand! So we’re looking for someone to take over our current location in downtown Galt, Cambridge. Our space is currently being used as a martial arts and fitness studio, but has the potential of being turned into office space or even a health clinic (i.e. chiropractic, etc…).
Kazoku Martial Arts Centre and The Core Climbing Gym have partnered up to help fundraise for our students to visit Japan in 2021.
Want to take part? It’s easy!
Join us on Saturday, January 12th from 10am-12pm and simply mention the word “karate” to the front desk. Your shoe rental of $5 will then be donated to our student’s so they may go and experience a whole new culture and train with our head instructors within Seiwa Kai.
Location: 500 Jamieson Parkway, unit #1, Cambridge, Ontario
Entry Fee: $14 +hst day pass / $5 minimum donation shoe rental
Time: 10am – 12pm
More: we will also have raffle prizes and snacks for purchase. Contact us for further details.
Here are the highlights from this Holiday Season so far!
Kazoku Martial Arts Centre’s 3rd Annual Potluck
Our karate family got together once again to kickoff the Holidays. Everyone brought all sorts of dishes to share, students received their well deserved belt certificates, and we even handed out our very first set of awards.
With recent activity developing in and around the downtown core, it’s important for us to remind our members how to remain safe while enjoying their activities throughout the day.
