It’s been awhile since we’ve shared a client’s pick. With all of the wonderful things we’ve been up too it’s been hard to keep up. But here’s another fabulous pick from our lovely lady Shalini. She’s always excited to share healthy yet delicious finds. And don’t forget if you have a recipe you would like to share, be sure to send it our way to feature it on our blog!
Please note: the recipes we share are referred to us by our clients and club members. All recipes are referenced accordingly at the bottom of the page with a link to their website.
Chocolate & Peanut Butter Keto No Bake Cookies
Shalini found this recipe was found on The Soccer Mom Blog. You can find more tips on how to store your keto cookies by visiting The Soccer Mom Blog.
Creamy natural peanut butter
Pure vanilla extract
Unsweetened cocoa powder
Unsweetened coconut flakes
Non-slip mixing bowls
Non-stick silicone baking mat
Prepare a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a non-stick silicone baking mat.
TIP: We love these silicone baking mats because they’re non-stick and washable, so you can use them again and again!
In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, vanilla extract, melted butted, coconut flake and cocoa powder. Mix well by hand (the mixture will be gooey).
TIP: Feel free to add 1-2 teaspoons of Stevia if you like your cookies a little sweeter.
Scoop the no bake cookie batter onto your prepared baking sheet. Use the back of the spoon to gently shape each scoop into into a 3″ cookie.
For those of you who missed out on Sunday, here’s what we got up to!
On Sunday, March, 18th, 2018 members of our club banned together to help us fundraise for two of our big events here at the studio. One is our annual CN Tower Climb for the World Wildlife Fund and the other is our cultural experience excursion to Japan in 2021.
From 8am to 8pm our students, parents, clients, family and friends came in to keep the wheels spinning while we were live on Instagram. Along side them were fellow cyclists from 3Sixty5 Cycling, our own personal trainer Whole Health Chelsi, and fuelling us along the way was Brutes and Babes Nutrition Inc. While streaming, our viewers helped spread awareness of our mission which helped us reach beyond our $1,000.00 goal to hit $1,128.00 and it’s still continuing to climb!
So on behalf of everyone here at Kazoku Martial Arts & Fitness I would like to thank everyone who came out and to all of you who watched us ride. We would not have been able to achieve our goal without your love and support.
You can continue to watch our story unfold as we aim to climb the CN Tower on April 8th as well as visit the land of the rising sun in 2021 by following us on Facebook and Instagram.
Get in the best shape of your life while your little ninja warrior participates in one of our martial arts programs! Contact us to find out how you can be apart of our family here at Kazoku Martial Arts & Fitness.
At Kazoku Martial Arts & Fitness Centre we will be hosting a 12 hour relay marathon on March 18th to help fundraise for two terrific experiences.
First is for the annual CN Tower Climb for the the World Wildlife Fund. This will be our 7th time climbing for the organization and our aim will be $1000.00 to support their global efforts to prevent climate change and the extinction of endangered species around the world. (Click to Donate).
Second is to help fundraise for our students to have a cultural experience in Japan in 2021. They will be training with the best in Tokyo and will then get to travel across the land of the rising sun. (Click to Donate).
From 8am to 8pm we will be keeping the spin-bikes spinning, taking turns with other members of our club. Joining us will be Chris Day and his friends from 3Sixty5 Cycling, Chelsi Rodrigues from Whole Health Chelsi, and the experts from Brutes and Babes Nutrition. Together we will be LIVE on Instagram to show how our community is here to make a difference!
So be sure to watch us live or even join us at the club!
